ABOUT US:

Bristol EPCs is owned and run by Matthew Williams. Matthew combines a passion for saving energy (and money) with a realistic common sense approach to life.

Before starting in the energy industry. Matthew had already gained a wide range of valuable knowledge and experience to aid in the running of an energy related business.

Having completed a Fire and Explosions Engineering degree with honours at Leeds university in the late 1990's; He spent two years working in Australia as a White Water Rafting Guide and having ran his own Property Developing business;  Matthew already had a working knowledge of property construction, thermal properties of materials and customer service to help give him head start as a DEA.
 
Matthew has been producing EPCs since August 2007 and has produced over 2500 domestic EPCs to date; is qualified to produce domestic EPCs, NHER Assessments, SAP reports, Predicted Energy Assessments and OnConstruction EPCs.

Since early 2010 Matthew has been working with Severn Wye Energy Agency(SWEA) on the local authority funded Target 2050 Project helping businesses in Gloucestershire to reduce their energy consumption.  As well as helping Severn Wye Energy Agency with the energy survey days of schools through the Young Energy People Project.

Expanding on the experience of helping businesses cut their energy consumption through the Target 2050 Project. Matthew is now an Energy Procurement Consultant. Helping businesses not only to reduce their energy use, but also helping to gain cheaper utility rates than a business can acheive for themselves.
